Portico offers four subscription plans and three one-time lifetime plans. Every plan includes unlimited team members and the template builder with conditional logic.

Consent collection covers the consent checkboxes clients tick before the form starts. Compliance tools cover audit trail checks, signature certificates, data retention, erasure requests, and client data export.
Annual pricing
Annual plans save 20% to 25% compared to monthly billing:
Starter — $29/month, billed annually at $348
Pro — $59/month, billed annually at $708
Business — $119/month, billed annually at $1,428
What counts toward your monthly limit
Each onboarding counts once, when you first send it to a client. Drafts, change requests, and tests do not count.
A test is an onboarding sent to the sign-in email of anyone on your team. Portico ignores capital letters and a "+" tag, so name+test@firm.com counts as a test for name@firm.com.
Reopening a completed, cancelled, or expired onboarding counts as a new one.
Free trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day Pro trial. During the trial, you have full access to all Pro features including API, SMS reminders, field translations, and compliance tools. No credit card is required.
The trial does not include Business features such as custom domain and custom CSS. Owners and Admins see the days left in the sidebar, such as "Pro trial, 9 days left", and in Settings > Billing. On the Free plan, the sidebar shows "Free plan", or "Free plan: trial ended" after a trial. Click it to open Settings > Billing.
When the trial ends, your account automatically moves to the Free plan. No data is deleted. You can subscribe to a paid plan at any time.
Lifetime plans
Lifetime plans cost one payment and never renew. Without a subscription, the Owner can buy one from Settings > Billing by clicking See lifetime plans. Admins can open the lifetime plans and see the prices, with no buy button.

AppSumo Solo, Practice, and Firm plans include the same features and limits as the matching lifetime plans.
Lifetime plans do not include AI form generation, SMS reminders, or custom CSS. They come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Email vlad@portico.run within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
If your workspace has a subscription, cancel it before you buy a lifetime plan. Settings > Billing hides See lifetime plans until the cancellation takes effect. To buy sooner, open app.portico.run/lifetime directly. To move between lifetime tiers, email vlad@portico.run. If you bought Portico through AppSumo, change tiers in your AppSumo account.
Credit packs
On a lifetime plan, the Owner can buy credit packs in Settings > Billing under Credit packs. Admins see the balances and the message "Only the workspace owner can buy credit packs. Ask your owner to buy one."
AI generation credits: 1,000 for $29
SMS reminder credits: 100 for $19
Credits never expire and never renew. Each credit is used after your monthly allowance runs out.
Managing your subscription
Owners and Admins can open Settings > Billing. Members do not see this tab. Billing changes may ask you to sign in again first.
The Usage this month card shows how many onboardings you have used against your limit. When your plan includes AI generation, it also shows AI generations. Usage counters reset on the 1st of each month, in UTC.
Subscribing
Without a subscription, pick a plan on the plan cards and click its button, such as Upgrade to Pro. During the trial, the Pro card reads Keep Pro after your trial. Portico does not grant a second 14-day trial. If your team is still inside its original Pro trial, checkout keeps the days you have left. Your first payment is charged when that trial would have ended; otherwise your card is charged at checkout. The checkout screen is prefilled with your signed-in email, and you can change it there. Prices open on Annual. Use the Monthly and Annual toggle to switch. New features become available as soon as the subscription starts.
Changing or cancelling a plan
Once you have a subscription, Settings > Billing shows:
Update payment method — change how you pay for your subscription.
Cancel subscription — open the cancellation page.
View plans — compare plans.
To move to a different plan, email support@portico.run with the plan you want. When a cancellation takes effect, your workspace moves to the Free plan. Features your new plan does not include become unavailable, and your data stays.
If a payment fails, you keep your plan while the payment is retried. Portico emails the Owner and shows a warning in Settings > Billing, with a button to update your payment method.
Payments and tax
Portico bills subscriptions, lifetime plans, and credit packs through Paddle, which runs the checkout. Prices exclude applicable taxes, and tax is calculated at checkout.
Portico does not charge transaction fees on payments you collect from clients through Stripe. You connect your own Stripe account and receive payments directly. Standard Stripe processing fees apply.
